Fake New’s and Propaganda, Bush's New Art of Lies as Journalism - Hitler did it, the Soviets made an art of it and now our own government under the Bush cabal of neo-fascists is spending more of our money to put a positive spin on bad programs, flat out lies and bogus news than either could have ever imagined.

Turns out Guckert-Gannon is just the tip of the iceberg.

Mike Whitney of Counterpunch has uncovered the truth behind Saddam’s Capture. Just getting him wasn’t good enough for Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld’s fragile egos they had to create cowardice where there was none, to counter their own.

Bush has effectively turned government agency into propaganda ministries. David Barstow and Robin Stein, of the The New York Times call it , a “New Age of Prepackaged Television News”

The Drug Control Office goes a step further and manufactures reporters. The are “faulted” by the GAO for Issuing Fake News Tapes, Ceci Connolly, Washington Post.

GAO Comptroller General David M. Walker who wrote to the heads of federal agencies on Feb. 17, saying that prepackaged news reports that do not clearly identify their source as the government violates a federal ban on covert propaganda. Walker holds firm on his implication that laws have been broken.

ABC News chimes in on Walkers report but not on the Evening News

The First Amendment Center with help from AP outs one of their fake journalists as a paid media consultant: "In Washington, I'm Karen Ryan reporting." Ryan, a former journalist, owns her own communications consulting firm in Washington.
