These Are The Times

In many contexts since the dawn of our republic Tom Paine’s words “these are the times that try men’s souls” have sung deeply, into the hearts of all those that believe themselves patriots. Today however, they have new meaning. We are indeed tried in these times, the nation Tom Paine envisioned in his heart, the nation our forefathers pledged their lives and their fortunes for us, is on trial.

In these times these words call to remind us that we must not be tied with pain in our hearts as we watch our nation sold away. We must stand against those that seek do destroy this nation. We must stand for this nation, a nation that every successive generation of Americans has struggled to build for us.

In these times we must do what it takes to make it known to every American in the land that neo-conservatism seeks one goal and one goal alone; to wring every last taxpayers dollar out the Federal treasury into the hands of a band of oligarchs known as Rangers and Pioneers.

These are men who have co opted our government for their own purposes. These men stand not with you or me but within their own world, a world separate from yours or mine, a world of avaricious insecurity. They see a future in which they will not live, a future in which their scions will rule as princes over a dominion they have stolen from those on whose backs it was built. They seek to create a privileged class of their own, a class so luxuriantly rich that no law or nation can question their actions.

And they do this under cloak of our American flag, a symbol they have stolen from those that revere it and treasure what it stands for. They do this under a mountain of lies they force feed a willing media under a mendacious banner of caring for America as they rob it blind.

There is neither word nor utterance of the true motives of these men in our once free press because they own that too. The last resort is us, Americans who care to notice, who can read under the battle lines of this next American Revolution. A revolution fought between the ninety eight percent of Americans that are not soulless coveters of wealth above right, the two percent that are, and the one tenth of one percent who seek to steal what is left, on the backs of our labor.

These are the neo-conservatives. These are the men who try our souls. These are the men who place their power drunk greed above honor. If we are to honor our nation and our children’s future we must, as a force of truth and right, drag them from the pillars of deception they have erected for themselves. Let us take a stand now, on the foundation our nation’s founders gave us. Next November, we must drive them from our house. We must elect those that vow to tear down this castle of greed these liars have created, shaming our nations name and squandering our future.

If we are to save our national honor, our future and the very soul of this American nation whose very name we cherish, we must rise up and brings tens of millions more to the polls next November than ever before and drive this regime from our house, for a nation that has had it’s soul wrested from it, will surely perish.
